Students admitted through the Readmission and Petition admission category fill vacant seats in the upper years of the program. There is no set number of seats available. Admission is based on the ‘fit’ between courses required for an applicant’s program of study after transfer credit evaluation is complete and availability of spots in the courses required is identified.

In addition to ‘fit,’ admission to the SCBScN program through the Readmission and Petition application route is based on competitive entry. Where two or more applicants ‘fit’ into the same vacancy, applicants with the highest undergraduate grade point average (AGPA) will be selected.

Each year, the Readmission and Petition admission route receives more applications than available spaces. Admission is dependent on available space in the SCBScN program and therefore is not guaranteed. All applications are considered; Canadian citizens and permanent residents are given preference.

Notification of admission can take considerable time. Due to evaluation of space and fit, applicants could be notified of their admission status in late August for fall admission and late December for winter admission.

Please note: Students re-admitted to the SCBScN program may have conditions on their admission, which can include repeating courses previously completed.
