Applicants who have completed Grade 12, and have less than 15 credit hours of post-secondary studies, will be admitted on the basis of high school grades. Applicants from other Canadian provinces or from other countries will need to present equivalent courses. GED will not be accepted in lieu of Grade 12

If you have attempted 15 credit hours of post-secondary studies, you must apply through post-secondary admission.

If you have attempted 9 credit hours or more of nursing classes, you must apply through upper year admission

Applicants must present the following five courses for admission to the program with a minimum of 70% on each course listed. These five courses will be used to calculate your admission average.

• English Language Arts A30 * See note 1
• English Language Arts B30 * See note 1
• One of Foundations of Math 30 or Pre-Calculus 30 or Calculus 30 ** See note 2
• Biology 30
• Chemistry 30

*Note 1: Applicants may substitute one of Francais Fransaskois A30/B30 or Francais Immersion 30 for English Language Arts A30 or B30. Applicants from Fransaskois and French Immersion programs may also substitute the equivalent subjects taught in French for those listed above.
**Note 2: Saskatchewan high school students can present math requirements under the new and/or former curriculums. The previous Saskatchewan mathematics courses of Math A30, Math B30 or Math C30 will be accepted.

High school graduates must have these courses completed and an official transcript submitted to Saskatchewan Polytechnic by March 1. Applicants who graduated high school in Saskatchewan must request their transcript to be sent electronically directly via the Ministry of Education to Saskatchewan Polytechnic. These can be submitted online at https://www.k12.gov.sk.ca/etranscript. Graduates of an out of province high school must request the Ministry of Education in that province/territory to mail their transcript directly to Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
